AlterEgo • skin&body products have been tested by many, all products are kept up to date with scripting. All AlterEgo products skin match to supported body enhancements. If you are seeing a difference in tone matching, please make absolutely sure, your products are up to date and that said item is not tinted. While mistakes happen, majority of our reported problems end up on customer side. Another tip to skin mis-match, the windlight you are set to, while make a huge difference in how skin & body look together. Please make sure, you are on an even windlight [ie: CALWL], turn off local lighting and shadows. If your problem persists, please leave a notecard for Toxxic Rhiannyr.
Difference between GENI & GENII skins - GENI skin line was created 2014-2015. This was the very first skin line released through AlterEgo, that supported body appliers and it really got the ball rolling on our plans to full transition into a full skin brand. In late 2015, we re-designed our body textures, made fresh appliers, skin tones and launched the GENII line of skins to the metaverse. GENII skins are not backwards compatible with GENI, as new tones were brought in, so please do not get these 2 lines confused, they are very different. GENII skins are much higher quality textures, allowing for some realism to be implemented into the skins. Pores, freckles and fine details can now be added and will reflect much better, especially on mesh heads. While the GENI skins are still for sale inside the mainstore, their support for upgrades and new releasing have been discontinued. Alterations to existing faces are lightly supported for sale events but no new faces will drop for this line. We encourage you to try both, it really is personal preference. GENI skins support the same body appliers as GENII.
